A story is a story, And it’s the same everywhere. Be it in Ayodhaya or in Greece, In Sita or in Helen. Just savor the story. Titles, names, destinations They might be different But don’t they tell the same thing again and again? And so the story flows on. Isn’t there a storyteller in all of us? Stories mesmerize us, takes us to the fantasy world. A world where we find ourselves into Can’t we tell our own story? In an exact way, we meant it to be heard? Tamasha is one such story, A story within a story Inception much?
Chapter 1: “Teja ka sone” Once upon a time and oh, the story begins Can be anyone, can be anything “Yeh Kahani hai thodi hatke” Whatever happens here, stays here. Stop, pause, smile, cry Whenever you want, wherever you want. Taking out the actors within Isn’t that what we do when we are alone? Look at the person in the mirror, figuring out who the person is actually “Don nikla Teja ka sone dhoodne, Mona darling ke sath” What’s the plan? The plan is that there is no plan. Pretty much sums up my life. “Rajkumari Savdhaan” Because good times pass quickly. It’s time to leave But what about Mona Darling? “Heer toh badi sad hai ji”
Chapter 2” Ishq vala love Suffer from separation, Shredding tears, Filling the stories with sweet memories to lessen the burden of distance. But, is this kind of love possible? Where you know nothing about a person but merely a fake identity But, was it really fake? “Agar tum saath ho” A soul crying for help, Asking someone to stay, To get the peace within in order to get your home back. But how? When there is an illusional mark? When the person you know is not that anymore? Trying to figure out who is the actor here? Finding its way out from dreams and reality Was just finding love in the wrong places, Looking for “someone else”. “Khwaab roz roz dekhe naye” But, Stop, pause, smile, cry This time according to society. “Mirror, mirror on the wall, Do I look perfectly fine?” Mirror replied, “ You do, Because you are the storyteller who knows how to act.” But, is it what he wanted to be? Maybe, he is just looking for “someone else” who is now lost. Stuck in the 9-5 clock. On the inside, he is a completely different man. And on the outside, he is helpless. “Yahi hai bas, andar ki baat.” The world sees only a mask Why aren't you, who you really are? It's sand that looks like water from far away land. Mirage! “ Kisse padi, andar kya hai.” You replete with questions. Who do you fear now? What is wrong and what is right? In the world full of stories, Only the storyteller knows, What will happen next. “Ending sahi nahi lagi toh badal denge” Our hero is struggling between the heart and the world. But, aren’t we the hero of our own story? Childhood told him once that you’re special but in the race to being the first, The hero crushed childhood. Is this our hero? Are you really happy about being mediocre? Or you want to choose the path of heart and chose your own race, To become the hero. Accepting who you are will lead to “Don Returns” and hence the chapter 3 of our story and the end. Didn’t you relate to Ved? Oh, Ved? That’s our hero of the story. But are you the hero of yours? And, what about Mona Darling? She is that Tara in the sky which we look for while wishing upon.
